- The Utah Professional Archaeological Council (UPAC) aims to support Native American students who are pursuing higher education related to cultural resources management through this scholarship.
- One goal of the UPAC is to promote careers in the fields of archaeology and cultural resources management for Tribal communities. Making these careers accessible starts with financial aid.
- This scholarship may be used for tuition, books, school fees, support fees, archaeological research (travel costs, special analyses), professional conference attendance, field school costs, and professional trainings.
- Any Native American undergraduate or graduate student resident may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are pursuing anthropology, archaeology, museum studies, Native American studies, or a related field. Applicants should also have a connection to Utah, whether as a resident, student or researcher.
