Who Can Apply:
- Less than two percent of teenage mothers go on to complete a bachelor’s degree by the time they are thirty.
- The many responsibilities that come with motherhood often make it difficult for teens to finish their high school degrees let alone start and finish college. From the time-consuming nature of parenting to the many expenses associated with taking care of children, it can be difficult for mothers to prioritize their own goals.
- This scholarship seeks to support young, teenage mothers so they can further their education and achieve their educational goals.
- Any high school student who’s a teen mom may apply for this scholarship if they’re a Washington or Oregon resident.
