Who Can Apply:
- Being able to communicate thoughts and ideas with words is a great skill, and one that writers cultivate throughout their lives.
- Writers help bridge the gap between thought and reality, giving voice to their own vision or giving voice to others by sharing their stories. The Writer can report on the world or create a world with their imagination. The Writer For Life Scholarship will support a student in Kansas who is passionate about pursuing a career in writing.
- High school seniors and undergraduate students in Kansas are eligible to apply if they are majoring in writing, journalism, or related writing fields.
Submission: To apply, write about the goals you’ve set for yourself as a writer, and share a book you think everyone should read in their lifetime.
