Who Can Apply:
- College is already expensive and the ever-growing price tag associated with higher education is making it increasingly difficult to afford.
- Rising college costs decrease the likelihood of students of color completing their degrees without taking on high amounts of debt. While student loans can make college more accessible to low-income students, their debt can follow them for decades and can make it difficult for them to succeed in life.
- This scholarship seeks to support BIPOC students so they can reduce or eliminate their college debt.
- Any BIPOC student who is working full or part-time and has a disability (i.e physical, mental, cognitive, developmental) or is an adult learner or non-traditional student may apply for this scholarship.
