Who Can Apply: Health Care Scholars United, funded by the United Health Foundation, supports 30 high-achieving students committed to pursuing a clinical professional career. The program will provide renewable merit-based scholarships of up to $5,000/year, wrap-around scholar support services, and exam/licensure prep and registration fee stipends.
- Be enrolled full-time at an accredited, U.S.-based four-year institution
- Pursuing a declared major aligned with a career in medicine, nursing, social work, or mental health, with a demonstrated commitment to pursuing an advanced degree in a clinical profession
- Classified as a junior at the time of awarding, (graduation date December 2026 or spring 2027).
- Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Submission: To be eligible for consideration, applicants must complete the online application form and submit one required essay, all requested transcripts, and one letter of recommendation by July 14, 2025.
