Who Can Apply:
- The Ja-Tek mission is to give back to upcoming and aspiring future engineers and technological scientists.
- Technology has and will continue to become an increasingly essential field to the systems and functions of the world. While many benefit from the advances of technology, only some are truly passionate about the field, looking not just for a career but for a means of making a living in tech while also making an impact.
- This scholarship aims to support underrepresented students as they pursue their dreams in the field of engineering.
- Any high school senior or undergraduate student who has at least a 3.5 GPA may apply for this scholarship opportunity. Applicants must be pursuing a four-year degree in engineering (computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.).
Submission: In 250-500 words, respond to one of the following prompts:
1. What is an experience in your life that has helped to shape you into the person you are today?
2. Describe a time when your spiritual faith was tested, or a time when you had reached out to God and how it has pulled you closer to Him.
3. What is your engineering major, and what is your passion behind wanting to pursue it?
