Who Can Apply:
- Arne Hyson was a beloved man who devoted his life to the field of mental health and believed in the power of education to transform lives. He was not only an advocate for mental health awareness but also a compassionate leader who supported and uplifted those working directly with patients.
- Arne believed that everyone deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed. Through his advocacy and hands-on leadership in the field, Arne made a tangible impact on countless lives. This scholarship honors Arne’s legacy by supporting students who share his dedication to mental health and commitment to making a difference.
- Any undergraduate or graduate student in Northern California who has financial need may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they’re pursuing a career in the mental health or related healthcare fields. Preference will be given to those affiliated with North Valley Behavioral Health, LLC (Yuba, Placer, and Yolo counties).
