Who Can Apply:
- Higher education is full of many exorbitant and overwhelming costs, with common stressors being tuition, textbooks, and living expenses.
- However, the financial burdens of school don’t stop there. Taking necessary board exams after finishing school often comes at a significant cost, especially since most students don’t work or can work only part-time while pursuing their studies, making it especially difficult to come up with the necessary funds.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the hard work of occupational therapy students, reflected by their academics and volunteerism, and to support them in their final months of school. The award amount is based on the current NBCOT exam fee that was in place at the time this scholarship became available for application.
- Any student in their final semester of the Panola College Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
Submission: To apply, write an essay telling us why you’re passionate about your chosen career, what your NBCOT study plans are, and what your professional goals are.
