- Single mothers face a wide array of challenges when pursuing higher education that can stand in the way of academic success.
- In addition to the responsibilities shared by their peers, single mothers have additional financial burdens and more limited time to devote to their studies. For single parents, the high costs of college are made even more overwhelming due to the expenses of raising a child.
- This scholarship aims to support single mothers so they can overcome the obstacles they face and complete their college degrees.
- Any high school senior, undergraduate, trade school or graduate student who is a single mother may apply for this scholarship.
Submission: To apply, submit either a video or an essay telling us why you’re uniquely deserving of this award and why you’re pursuing higher education.
