Who Can Apply:
- Students of Hispanic/Latin American descent often face more obstacles on the road to higher education than their peers.
- Many Latina students come from families with limited financial resources while others have to navigate language barriers, citizenship barriers, and/or discrimination. Overcoming these challenges requires grit, hard work, and constant perseverance, and this scholarship seeks to support the Latinas who overcome these challenges every day as they pursue higher education on the path to their career.
- Any undergraduate Hispanic/Latin student who identifies as a woman and has at least a 3.8 GPA may apply for this scholarship.
- To apply, tell us about yourself, how you make a difference on those around you, and how you will continue to make an impact through your career.
- This scholarship is in honor of Mauricio Cuervo and Blanca Rincon, living embodiments of every quality this scholarship seeks to reward.
