Who Can Apply:
- Henry is a beloved husband, father, brother, former police officer and mentor to many growing up in Detroit, Michigan. Henry was diagnosed with dementia a few years ago. This diagnosis has been life-changing for both Henry and those close to him. There is still so much to learn about the possible causes of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.
- Alzheimer’s and dementia awareness and research plays a key role in finding a cure. If students are exposed early in their careers to the importance of research in aging and dementia, they may be more likely to explore these fields for their careers.
- This scholarship aims to support students who are pursuing majors in healthcare or medical research so they can complete their degrees and make a difference in the lives of others.
- Any undergraduate student interested in medical research, biomedical science, neuroscience, psychology, etc. may apply for this scholarship, but students at Michigan State University are preferred.
