Who Can Apply:
- High school students today often are pressured to continue their education in a two or four-year college or university, with little consideration of other options.
- While traditional college degrees are the desire of many students, this one path isn’t right for everyone. Other programs, such as certificates in the trades, may be a better fit for students, especially those who like to work with their hands and those who are in search of a quicker education.
- This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Kenneth Brown by supporting students who are passionate about pursuing trade school.
- Any high school senior at Anson High School or Anson County Early College in Wadesboro, North Carolina, may apply for this scholarship if they are an organ donor and if they will attend trade school. Candidates should be self-motivated and driven by hands-on work.
Submission: To apply, tell us about your goals for trade school and your career, as well as why you’ve decided to be an organ donor. Additionally, upload an image of something you have worked on.
