Who Can Apply:
- The Lincoln AMA Emerging Marketer Scholarship was created in 2016 to reward undergraduate students expressing an interest in a career involving marketing. The Lincoln Chapter of the American Marketing Association serves as the resource for area marketers to learn, grow and connect through opportunities which promote education and marketing excellence. Their desire is to be recognized as THE RESOURCE for marketing professionals in the Lincoln area. Offering programming and education for seasoned marketing veterans to recent college grads, the Lincoln AMA’s mission is to help marketers learn, grow and connect. The 2024 scholarships are sponsored by ALLO Fiber and KidGlov.
- To be eligible to apply you must be a full-time student in a 4-year program, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, reside within the Lincoln AMA market – Lincoln, Seward, Crete, Grand Island, Hastings, and Kearney and have at least a freshman standing and will continue to be enrolled full-time for at least one additional semester prior to graduation. The applicant is not required to be in a specific major or program, but must demonstrate an interest in a career involving marketing.
Submission: Additional Application Requirement: Special essays – Explain how marketing may play a role in your career; Share a time that you demonstrated courage and/or passion related to marketing; and, How can marketing play a role in positively impacting social justice issues?
