Who Can Apply:
- This scholarship was created in honor of Marie J. Lamerique, who raised three sons, and is intended to support Black male students who have overcome challenges related to their upbringing or family circumstances. It recognizes individuals who have demonstrated resilience, determination, and a strong commitment to building a better future through education.
- Any Black male high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who has a non-traditional family background or grew up in a single-parent household may apply for this scholarship opportunity, but applicants who are first-generation college students are strongly encouraged to apply.
