Who Can Apply: The NSCS Board of Directors has created and funded this award to recognize outstanding NSCS members who have distinguished themselves through their involvement, enthusiasm and support for the organization. Five (5) $1,000 scholarships will be presented to members that meet the criteria.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Must be an NSCS Member
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
Submission:
- Briefly describe your involvement with NSCS in 250-400 words.(leadership position, activity participation, NSCS’s effect on overall college experience)
- A friend has received an NSCS invitation but is unsure if s/he should join. What would you tell your friend about why they should join NSCS? How would you demonstrate/explain “Why NSCS Rocks!”? (450-600 words)
