- Loving and educated animal care professionals and the care they provide are crucial for households with animals and pets. Unfortunately, such care can be difficult to find in underserved areas, with this disparity threatening the health and wellness of animals. With the many difficulties and expenses that come with pursuing years of higher education, it is critical for veterinary students to be uplifted so they can complete their degrees.
- This scholarship aims to support students who are passionate about completing their college education so they can go on to careers helping animals.
- Any underrepresented minority high school or undergraduate student who is pursuing the veterinary field may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
