Who Can Apply:
- Adam James Walton was a beloved son, cherished brother, and true friend who died by suicide on September 25, 2022, at the age of nineteen.
- Adam was a graduate of North Penn High School, Class of 2021, and he had just started his sophomore year at Ursinus College when he left the world too soon. He enjoyed spending time with his brother, family, and friends, and he loved fishing and playing video games. Adam was academically gifted and was on a pre-med track to become a psychiatrist. Adam was a trusted and empathetic mentor to his friends and peers, known for always putting others before himself. He was also side-splittingly funny, with a smile that would light up a room.
- This scholarship seeks to continue Adam Walton’s legacy by helping deserving students who are passionate about mental health awareness.
- Any high school senior attending North Penn High School in Pennsylvania may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have battled their own struggles with mental health, if they want to promote mental health awareness, or if they want to pursue a career in the mental health field.
