- Phillip Randall Gaston was a beloved son who graduated from Campbell High School in 2003 and sadly passed away in October 2023 at the age of thirty-eight.
- Phillip was always very talented in math, loved all things technology, gaming and sports. He is thought of fondly by his family, friends, and community, and his memory lives on in their hearts and through this scholarship and its impact on the next generation of students from his alma mater.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Phillip Randall Gaston by supporting students who share his affinity for math.
- Any high school student at Campbell High School in Georgia may apply for this scholarship opportunity, but male African American students who are interested in pursuing math are preferred.
