Who Can Apply:
- Growing up in Villalba, Puerto Rico, Sara faced challenges early on. She left school in third grade to help sustain the family. Despite her illiteracy, she persevered.
- After marrying in Puerto Rico and moving to New Jersey with her children, Sara found her life shattered when her husband left, leaving her to support her four children alone. - Through her children’s experiences, Sara recognized the transformative impact of education. In honor of Sara’s memory, we are proud to introduce the Sara Molina Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship aims to empower and support female students in Puerto Rico who need a little help shaping a better future.
