Who Can Apply:
- Travel is an integral part of learning, allowing individuals to understand other people and cultures firsthand.
- For young people, it can be difficult to find opportunities to travel. Between the costs of transportation and accommodations and a lack of time off from school and work, many people put off traveling. Studying abroad is a unique opportunity for students to not only travel to, but live in another country, getting to know the customs, culture, and traditions of their new home.
- This scholarship seeks to support undergraduate students from the Midwest who are preparing to study abroad and immerse themselves in new countries.
- Any four-year undergraduate student who has been accepted into a study abroad program through their university may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they reside in the Midwest (Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, or Kentucky).
Submission: To apply, tell us where you are in the study abroad process, where you plan to study, and how you plan to truly immerse yourself in the culture. Additionally, upload a file showing your acceptance into a study abroad program.
