Who Can Apply: This scholarship was established in 2003 in honor of the late Daniel Hernandez, who was a successful criminal defense attorney, community activist, mentor and family man. He was a member of La Raza Lawyers Association for many years and, together with his wife, Jessie Serna, was a generous donor to our annual scholarship fund. Daniel attended Golden Gate University School of Law.
