Who Can Apply:
- This scholarship will be awarded in commemoration of Aaron B. O’Reggio, an accomplished and respected Computer Scientist, who passed away suddenly in 2025.
- Aaron was an inspiration to everyone who knew him—a man of unwavering integrity, discipline, and hard work. His determination and lifelong passion for technology paved the way for a fulfilling and exciting career path, ultimately landing him his dream job in 2020.
- As a natural born leader and motivator, Aaron’s support for others to reach their true potential was paramount. He had a brilliant way of encouraging and guiding everyone around him. In Aaron’s honor, the journey of empowering and inspiring action must continue. This scholarship will be awarded to a recipient who values and demonstrates character, integrity and discipline while striving for a career in the tech industry.
- Any Black male undergraduate student pursuing any form of higher education (in programs such as two or four-year school, trade/technical school, or other industry-recognized certification) who is pursuing computer science may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
