Who Can Apply: This $500 scholarship was created to honor the memory of Christine Carlson, a woman who held an unwavering faith in God and realized that the only lasting pleasure in life came from “doing for others and expecting nothing in return.” She held a strong belief in the fundamentals of the U.S. Constitution and in the Republican Party where individual freedom, responsibility, self-reliance, hard work, education and community service were paramount and government intervention and aid were at a minimum.
• College/ University Requirement: Any two or four year college
• Required College Major: US government or history related programs
• Other Applicant must express an interest, understanding and belief in the fundamentals of the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence and demonstrate leadership skills and personal integrity.
