Who Can Apply:
- As the cost of post-secondary education increases, access to educational programming is becoming less accessible to marginalized groups and creates great barriers for opportunities to DREAM out loud. The Kynnedy Simone ‘I Am The Dream’ Scholarship aims to help scholars maximize their dreams of obtaining higher education.
- Eligible applicants include African American female high school seniors with a 2.5 GPA or higher, planning to enroll in a two or four year undergraduate program or trade/vocational program beginning Summer 2023 or Fall 2023. Applicants must have volunteer or community service experience to apply for this scholarship.
Submission: To apply, please submit a two minute video explaining why YOU are the dream. Additionally, in a written essay of no more than 250 words, please tell us about your community service experience and school and extracurricular activities, along with any further information you would like to share.
