Who Can Apply:
- The transition to high school is a crucial time in a student’s life but can be a financially stressful period for students and their parents.
- Extracurriculars, school supplies, clothes, and other items that students want in order to fit in with their peers can be expensive. The looming and significant expenses of higher education can also be a source of worry for middle and low-income families who can’t afford to give their kids everything they want.
- This scholarship aims to support students who are passionate about pursuing higher education but don’t have the funding necessary to live out their goals.
- Any low-income high school student with at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are a resident of Leon or Gadsden County, Florida.
