Who Can Apply: Graduating high school seniors who have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (4.0 scale), who are residents of Vanderburgh County, and who are planning to pursue post-secondary education at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in Indiana. The recipient of the Legacy Scholarship must be a first-generation college student whose parents (the applicant’s biological parents, adoptive parents, or legal guardians) have not attained a college degree (associate degree or higher).
Submission:
- Essay describing aspirations and educational goals (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages).
- Official grade transcript.
