Scholarship Name: Focus on Your Possibilities Scholarship Program
Description: If you’re an adult with ADHD, you know how challenging it is to pursue higher education – especially outside of the traditional frameworks. Now there’s help to fund your college costs with one of Eli Lilly and Company’s 21 $5,000 educational scholarships given out every year. Awards are based on merit and go to those who have demonstrated initiative, passion and dedication to their education. Eligible candidates must be at least 25 years of age, currently undergoing treatment for adult ADHD, and enrolled in an accredited public or private undergraduate or graduate school. Scholarship winners must be willing to share their personal story with the media.

Scholarship Name: Apprentice Ecologist Initiative (AEI)
Description: The Apprentice Ecologist Initiative (AEI) engages thousands of young people from around the world in cleaning up and preserving the environment. One of the ways in which the AEI employers young volunteers is through its Apprentice Ecologist Scholarship. Start by participating in one of three green initiatives: (1) Trash Cleanup, (2) Tree Planting or (3) An Eco-Initiative of Your Choosing. Then write an essay with accompanying photos of your experience. The ten best essays will win a large, 100% organic cotton canvas tote bag. The best essayist will win the grand prize – a $500 educational scholarship.
