Scholarship Name: The SEED Foundation’s Scholar Program
Description: The SEED Foundation is dedicated to supporting the higher education endeavors of Southeast Asian youth. The program has already awarded more than $137,000 to 28 young men and women, making it the largest scholarship program for Indian youth. Qualified students must be of Asian-Indian heritage with at least one parent of Indian ancestry and be a graduating high school student. Additionally, you must have a minimum G.P.A of 3.0 and plan to be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a U.S. University.

Asian Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA)
Scholarship Name: APALA Scholarship
Description: Students of Asian/Pacific Islander heritage who are pursuing master’s or doctoral degrees in library and/or information science can receive financial assistance from an organization entirely devoted to the pursuits of Asian and Pacific Islander librarians! Interested applicants should think about their vision of a librarian’s role in the twenty-first century – the scholarship application requires a one page essay on the topic. You’ll also have to submit an updated resume and become a member of the APALA. As an award recipient, you will have the opportunity to serve on the Scholarship Committee the following year. The APALA is committed to finding scholarship recipients that will be come active members of the APALA and the community.
