Scholarship Name: The UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship
Description: The UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship Program is dedicated to providing financial support for the academic pursuits of people living with epilepsy and their family members. Qualified applicants must either have an epilepsy diagnosis or be living with a caregiver or family member who has an epilepsy diagnosis. Additionally, they must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree and have a strong record of community involvement. Applicants also are required to submit a one-page essay explaining why he or she is the ideal candidate and three letters of recommendation.

Scholarship Name: Aimee Melissa Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund
Description: To celebrate the life of a young woman who had juvenile diabetes, the Austin Community Foundation offers the Aimee Melissa Davis Memorial Scholarship to students in the Austin area who have demonstrated financial need. Eligible students must have Type I diabetes, and must be planning to attend an accredited undergraduate institution upon graduation from high school.
