Scholarship Name: Doyon Foundation Scholarships
Description: Doyon, Limited is one of the largest landholders in Alaska, and its shareholders grant thousands of dollars in high school, vocational and college scholarships each year to residents through their charitable arm, the Doyon Foundation. Competitive scholarships for undergraduate study range in value from $2,000 to $7,000, while vocational scholarships are reserved for students who will complete their trade programs in fewer than three years. Basic scholarships of smaller amount ($250-$400) are available year-round, and require a much less extensive application. All scholarships are open only to Doyon, Limited enrollments for people and their children.

American Indian Science and Engineering Society
Scholarship Name: AISES Scholarships
Description: The American Indian Science and Engineering Society, in conjunction with a number of partners and sponsors, offers three major scholarships for Native American students every year. While the criteria for the scholarships vary from award to award (one requires that you are a high school senior, another that you are interested in chemical engineering), the common bond between the three is a demonstrated interested in math, engineering and computer science. In addition, all scholarships require a G.P.A. of at least 3.0 (some are as high as 3.5).
