Microsoft: Women at Microsoft
Scholarship Name: Women at Microsoft Scholarship Fund
Description: You’ve probably already read all about the prestigious scholarships offered by Microsoft for aspiring computer programmers. While the Women at Microsoft (WAM) Scholarship is affiliated with the computer powerhouse, WAM is actually an employee affinity group made up of women who came together at Microsoft to offer workshops, diversity training, and mentoring for employees, in addition to scholarships for college. These scholarships are awarded to women who are studying computer science at any school in Washington State (where Microsoft is headquartered). If you’ve ever thought about working for Microsoft (while this isn’t an internship program), a WAM scholarship is an excellent way to get your foot in the door!
