Description: Named for Congresswoman Patsy Takemoto Mink, the Education Foundation for Low-income Women and Children offers support (both financial and otherwise) to low-income women, with a particular emphasis on mothers. To qualify for an education support award, you can be pursuing a degree of any kind, from GED to Master’s and you must be at least 17 years old. You can use the award for either educational or living expenses.
