    Scholarship Name: The Scholastic Art Awards
    Description: For high school aspiring artists, the Scholastic Art Awards are a great way to gain recognition for your talent as well as get free money for college. Young artists can submit works in animation, ceramics and glass, computer art, design, digital imagery, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video & film. A full body of eight works is required of all graduating seniors seeking scholarship funding, and scholarships are distributed by region. All national award recipients attend a ceremony at New York’s Carnegie Hall, which is held in their honor. Submission of works to the Scholastic Art Awards also be considered for a number of other private arts scholarships.

    Liberty Graphics

    Scholarship Name: Liberty Graphics Art Scholarship
    Description: Young Maine artists take note: Liberty Graphics is looking for you enter a contest for the Liberty Graphics Art Scholarship. Each year the contest encourages high school students to create art that reflect their natural environment. They furnish most of the pertinent information about the contest and scholarship directly to high school guidance and college counselors, but entry forms are also available on the Liberty Graphics website. The entry form is incredibly simple to fill out, and the artwork can take on just about any form (as long as it can be submitted by mail).
