Description: There are many students attending high school and college who are also using manual and power wheelchairs. If you are one of them, then SpinLife.com would like you to apply for their Innovation in Motion Scholarship Program, which awards $500 to one student every year. SpinLife.com is one of the country’s major producers for wheelchairs, and is looking to make the life of college students a little bit easier by helping them pay for college. Students must be enrolled in a four-year college program, must be wheelchair users, and must maintain a GPA of 3.0 to keep the scholarship once awarded.

Scholarship Name: William C. Stokoe Scholarship
Description: The National Association for the Deaf is the leading source of information and resources for the deaf/hearing impaired. In addition to the conferences, workshops and awards that they offer, they also provide a number of scholarships to students attending college and university. The William C. Stokoe Scholarship recognizes deaf or hearing impaired students who are currently enrolled in a four year college or university who are planning a significant research project related to the sign language or deaf community. The project must be completed one year from the scholarship award.
