Stokes Educational Scholarship – Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship

National Security Agency

Scholarship Name: Stokes Educational Scholarship Program
Description: This scholarship sponsored by the NSA is designed to recruit minority students directly into the NSA, while at the same time diversifying some of the fields in which minorities are currently under-represented (engineering, computer science and math). The scholarship package is extensive: you will receive full tuition and room and board, a book allowance and a year-round salary that you earn by working summers as an intern at the NSA. You’ll have a guarantee of employment after you complete your college, as long as you keep your grade up and complete your internship requirements. If for any reason you decide to leave the program early, you’ll actually have to reimburse the government for the money they put toward your schooling. Therefore, you should not decide to apply for this scholarship lightly.

Award is Open to: High School Seniors, Undergraduate Students (Sophomores)
Major/Field of Study: Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
