Scholarship Name: The S.E.V.E.N. Fund Student Essay Competition
Description: The S.E.V.E.N. Fund is the Social Equity Venture Fund, an independent nonprofit organization supported by the John Templeton Foundation. S.E.V.E.N. provides monetary and organizational support for the research of enterprise based solutions to poverty. The competition will award two scholarships – a $10,000 prize to one undergraduate and a $20,000 prize to one graduate student. The winners will write a 2,000-word essay. The persuasive essay will be written in first person.

Description:
All-Ink.com is offering up to $5,000 in scholarships to students enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university for the 2009-2010 school year. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and write two 50- to 200-world essays about the person who has had the greatest impact on your life and what you hope to achieve in your personal and professional life after completing graduation. You must complete your application and upload your essays online.
