Scholarship Name: KFC Scholars Program
Description: If you are graduating from high school this year and planning to enroll in one of your state’s public colleges or universities, then you are eligible for the $20,000 renewable KFC Scholars Program. Winners will receive $5,000 per year for each of four years, for a total award of $20,000. In order to maintain eligibility, winners must carry at least 12 credit hours per semester, maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher, and work at least 10 hours per week beginning the 2nd year of funding. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and be able to demonstrate financial need (via your FAFSA – so be sure to complete it early!).

Echoing Green
Scholarship Name: Echoing Green Public Service Fellowship
Description: There are some students who just have a great idea, and then do everything that they can to see that idea come to fruition. If you are one of those students, and your idea relates to the public good, you could qualify for the prestigious Echoing Green Public Service Fellowship. Echoing Green recognizes social entrepreneurs who have come up with new and innovative solutions to the world’s problems. Applicants should apply as part of an organization that is in its start-up phase, and must be working full time to carry out the idea. All ideas must be completely original, and fellows will be asked to participate in a number of Echoing Green sponsored events throughout the year.
