CHS Foundation
Scholarship Name: CHS Foundation Scholarships
Description: CHS (not sure exactly what these letters stand for) is a leader in the field of agribusiness and agriculture. Like so many agri-companies that are seeing smaller and smaller numbers of your people taking an interest in agriculture, CHS (through their charitable arm, the CHS Foundation) are offering incentives to students of all ages who are studying (or will study) agriculture in college or university. The CHS Foundation scholarships really run the gamut of students, with opportunities to free college money for high school seniors, two-year college students, and four-year university students. All students need to show a commitment to agriculture (especially agricultural cooperatives) to be eligible, but each scholarship type does come with its own set of guidelines. For example, the University Scholarship Program (for four-year university students) is only available to students at participating universities (the schools are listed on the CHS Foundation website).
