National Future Farmers of American Organization
Scholarship Name: Future Farmers of America National Scholarship Program
Description: One of the primary mission’s of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) has been to provide support for education for students in the agricultural science fields, to give them the opportunity to pursue careers in agriculture and farming. In addition to other extensive grants programs, which are funded primarily by the business members of the National FFA Organization. The scholarship committee looks for a wide range on interest in their scholarship recipients, and makes a point of looking at the “whole student.” All applicants should be active members of the FFA, have involvement in community service and volunteering, and academic achievement. Since there are more than 1,000 scholarships available through the FFA and its sponsors, they have made it easy to apply to all of the scholarships at one time through a common application.

Accelerated Genetics
Scholarship Name: Accelerated Genetics Youth Scholarships and Collegiate Scholarships
Description: Accelerated Genetics sees youth as the key to the future of the agriculture business, and has made available scholarships for both high school students and undergraduate students who are planning to pursue careers in farming, ranching or other agricultural industries. Students who are active in their local Future Farmers of America Chapter, the 4-H club or other agriculture-related activities are eligible for this scholarship. Eligible scholarship applicants must also be from families who are currently customers of Accelerated Genetics.
Award: $500 – $1,000
