Most kids have dreamed of one day becoming a doctor. Walking the halls of the hospital with a stethoscope around your neck…the image has undoubtedly passed through all of our minds. As an undergraduate, the road to medical school starts with biology.
People are just as fascinated by plants, animals and other life as they are with the human medical condition, and this interest has caused the number of biology students to spike, and for biology to become one of the most popular majors among college students.
Because of the rigorous nature of so many biology programs, the vast majority of scholarships for biology students have high grade point average and SAT requirements.
