Description: Honoring a U.S. Air Force veteran and business aviation leader, the Alan H. Conklin Business Aviation Management Scholarship aims to assist undergraduate students who are pursuing a career in business aviation management. The winner of the scholarship will receive $5,000 toward the cost of tuition and fees at an aviation management program at a University Aviation Association (UAA) member school. Description: Like many scholarships for women listed here, the Jane M. Klausman scholarships is dedicated to empowering women to succeed is careers that previously have been dominated by men. Business is one of the major areas that is seeing an increase in available scholarships geared towards women. Zonta International, a national women’s group, offers scholarships to women pursuing undergraduate business management degrees. The scholarship is in memory of Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Syracuse Zonta Club, who faced her own challenges as a women in the business world.
