Scholarship Name: General John A. Wickham Scholarship
Description: The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Educational Foundation awards a number of undergraduate scholarships per year to students in pursuit of degrees in fields that can help shape the way that the armed forces can effectively and safely communicate. The General John A. Wickham Scholarship is for outstanding students (3.5 GPA or higher) who are studying any of the “C41” disciplines. These include computer science, physics, mathematics, technology management; or management information systems. Other majors that directly relate to military communication and national security may also be considered. Students must be in their second year of study to qualify. The application also requires two academic letters of recommendation.

Oracle/United Negro College Fund
Scholarship Name: Oracle Community Impact Grant
Description: Following Oracle’s goal of innovative use of technology in education is the Oracle Community Impact Grant for undergraduate students is a variety of technology-related disciplines. Oracle has teamed up with the United Negro College Fund to give back to their community in Northern California through $10,000 scholarships for students who show financial need and are committed to technological innovation in education.
