Description: A program of the Northrop Grumman Corporation, this scholarship supports promising high school seniors planning to pursue a career in an engineering-related field. Additionally recipients must live in a community with a major presence from Northrop Grumman, namely:
- Maryland’s 23 counties and in the city of Baltimore
- California – Antelope, Conejo, San Fernando Valley, Simi Valley and Los Angeles County
- California – San Gabriel Valley
- Connecticut – Fairfield and New Haven County
- Florida – Orange and Seminole County
- Illinois – Arlington Heights, Palatine and Rolling Meadows Residents
- New York – Erie and Niagara County
- Ohio – Butler, Claremont, Hamilton and Warren County
- Utah – Davis, Salt Lake, Utah and Weber County
- Virginia – Albemarle County
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as a full-time student in engineering. Funds can be applied to tuition, room, board or books.

Scholarship Name: Jack E. Leisch Memorial National Graduate Fellowship
Description: The American Society for Civil Engineers provides scholarships for students in all areas of civil engineering. The Jack E. Leisch Memorial National Graduate Fellowship awards graduate funding for students studying traffic and transportation patterns and planning. Students must be attending a Civil Engineering program that is accredited, and can pursue either master or doctoral degrees. Applications are evaluated based on academic performance, leadership potential and financial need.
