American Institute of Wine and Food
Scholarship Name: Culinary Arts and Enology Scholarship
Description: Young members of the American Institute of Wine and Food (AIWF) can qualify for scholarships in culinary arts and enology through the Institutes scholarship program. Scholarships are distributed through local chapters of the AIWF. Each chapter hosts events, workshops and has loads of other resources for students and professionals alike. The amount of each scholarship varies from chapter to chapter, since scholarship funds are supported by individual donations. The AIWF is an excellent opportunity for students studying enology outside of the major geographic areas like Washington State and Northern California, where most of the scholarship funding (and many of the academic program) is located. Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited enology or culinary arts program, and must become a member of the AIWF to qualify for the scholarship.

The Westchester Group
Scholarship Name: The Westchester Foundation Agricultural Scholarship
Description: Sometimes finding a scholarship for something as specific as viticulture and enology requires you to get a little creative. There are many scholarships out there that you might be able to get, even if they don’t explicitly say "viticulture and enology" in their requirements. The Westchester Group specializes in farm and agricultural machinery, real estate and management. In order to make it possible for the next generation of agricultural leaders to have access to a high quality education without a tremendous financial burdern, the Westchester Group has established the Westchester Foundation which grants scholarships to college students studying agriculture, including enology and viticulture. Scholarship distribution is based largely on academic achievement (grade point average, class rank, etc), but also take community service as related to agriculture into account.
