Description: We’ve seen that Washington State boasts some of the best programs for viticulture, enology and all other aspects of wine making, so it makes sense that many of the scholarships for wine studies are concentrated within the higher education community of the Northwest United States. Students of enology at Walla Walla Community College can take advantage of this scholarship funding through scholarships like the Leonetti Cellar Scholarship in Enology. Scholarship Name: Columbia Basin College Foundation Scholarships
Description: Very close to the southern border of Washington State is Pasco, WA, home of Columbia Basin College. The mid-sized college offers a number of university-endowed scholarships for all majors at the college – including agriculture with an emphasis on viticulture and enology. All students can apply for the foundation scholarships through the same application (which is available for download from the foundation website – the link is below), but individual scholarships might have specific requirements, so you should check with the Agricultural Sciences department before going ahead with the application.
