Description: Brown and Caldwell is a large, national environmental science corporation that strives to find solutions to many of the country’s environmental problems. The scholarship is available to juniors and seniors, as well as graduate students in the field of Environmental and Chemical Engineering. The Dr. Wes Eckenfelder Jr. Scholarship is named in honor of Dr. Wes Eckenfelder Jr. who was know for the great strides that he made in the field of waste water treatment. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA to qualify for the award.

Scholarship Name: Welder Wildlife Foundation Fellowships for Graduate Students
Description: Graduate students doing innovative research in the field of wildlife protection should consider applying for the Welder Wildlife Foundation Fellowship for Graduate Students. The Welder Wildlife Foundation is particularly interested in projects that are new to the foundation and have not been explored by other scientists or fellows. Interested students should propose a research project that directly related to animal behavior, biology, botany, conservation education, ecology, mammalogy, ornithology, parsitology, range science, veterinary pathology, and wildlife sciences. While the Welder Foundation provides funding for research, your university program is ultimately responsible for choosing and overseeing the project once it gets started.
