Description: The National Council of Jewish Women in Los Angeles County recognizes outstanding female residents of Los Angeles county. Two awards are earmarked for the pursuit of nursing studies, and both are a substantial $2,000 award. The Inger Lawrence – M.R. Bauer Foundation Nursing Studies Scholarship and the June Miller Nursing Education Scholarship. The Miller scholarship is for students just entering their nursing studies, while the Lawrence Bauer scholarship is for students who have already earned some credits toward a nursing degree.
