Description: Are you an established journalist wanting to go back to school to enhance your academic knowledge of religion or spirituality? The Religion Newswriters Association, in conjunction with the Religion Newswriters Foundation, is offering scholarships of up to $5,000 each to journalists interested in studying religion at any accredited college, university or seminary. Scholarships can be used cover any education-related expenses, including tuition, registration fees and books. In addition to a personal essay and references, applicants must include a proposed course of study and projected costs for one course per application period.

Scholarship Name: Adelante! National Scholarship
Description: The U.S. Education Leadership Fund is committed to increasing the college graduation rates of Hispanics. As a way to meet this goal, the Fund has partnered with the Miller Brewing Company to establish its $1,000 – $3,000 Adelante! Scholarship for rising juniors or seniors in college. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be pursuing a degree in International Business, General Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Public Relations or Sales. To be eligible, applicants must be attending one of the participating institutions. In addition to your application and personal statement, applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation expressing their leadership potential.
