Description: This scholarship can be categorized under “very specific”, but it’s still a great opportunity for nurses and other health care professionals to earn money for college. The Baptist Health Care system is hoping to breathe some life into the struggling nursing industry, and as such are offering a number of scholarships to nursing and health care students attending the Baptist Health Schools – Little Rock program. The program provides the majority of nurses and health care professionals to the Baptist Health network, so the Foundation is making sure that students not only enter the program, but finish as well. This year, the Baptist Health Foundation awarded almost $200,000 in scholarships.
